With a rich legacy of dedication and expertise, we proudly stand as Cleveland's oldest and most experienced studio in the Midwest.
Founded by Troy McCarty in 1985, White Cloud Studios has been a beacon of the Pilates community in Cleveland and internationally for over three decades.
At White Cloud Studios, we believe in the power of personalized attention and intimate class settings to maximize your Pilates experience. What sets us apart is our commitment to small class sizes led by experienced instructors who are dedicated to guiding you through every movement on the Reformer and chairs.

Getting Started
Welcome to White Cloud Studios, where we blend the art of pilates with our machine based techniques to transform your fitness journey. Whether you are a seasoned practitioner or a newcomer to pilates, we have tailored options to suit your needs.
For those with prior experience, you’re welcome to join our regular classes directly, diving into our dynamic sessions designed to challenge and strengthen your body.
If you are new to the machine based pilates approach, we recommend starting with our beginner classes or booking a private lesson or two. These personalized sessions will introduce you the fundamentals of pilates, familiarize you with our equipment, and ensure proper form and technique.

Laurie Gunether
Laurie started her Pilates journey back in 2000 inspired by the cool new celebrity workout. Received her training from Troy McCarty (Balanced Body Teacher Training). Laurie is the manager of both studios. Laurie helps clients through both movement with clear direction and friendship.

Raudel Napoles
Raudel Napoles (Lead Instructor) was born outside of Havana Cuba Feb 26 1977 (yes to gifts). Has been teaching for over 19 years. Raudel was trained at White Cloud Studios by Troy. When Raudel is not at the studio you can see him out in his garden tending to his plants.

Connie Wolf
Connie joined the Pilates community over 25 years ago, adding to a long and successful career in dance. She helps her clients develop intrinsic strength and balance, shaping her teaching on a sophisticated knowledge of the human body in motion. Connie received her certification from Troy, and additional study with Pilates master teachers, including Alan Herdman, Julian Liffleford and Mary Bowen.

Carly Costa
Carly found Pilates in 2020 and never looked back. She is working towards her comprehensive certification with Balanced Body and is excited to help others deepen their practice. Carly's classes will challenge you in the best way and leave you feeling stronger, taller, and ready to take on the day. She loves to incorporate both classic and contemporary moves to create a fun flow that will keep you coming back for more. When she isn't at the studio, Carly plans corporate events, takes walks with her dog, and tries new restaurants around town.

Annie Safran
I’ve been practicing Pilates for over 15 years and teaching for 3. I did my training with Troy and received a Comprehensive certification through Balanced Body. I’m a former school teacher and librarian, and the mother of a teen and tween daughter. I’m a Wolverine hailing from The Great Lakes State, but I promise not to hold your love of the Buckeyes against you in class!

Christina Uehlein
Christina Uehlein (Apprentice) has her B.A Dance Major from Ohio University. Christina has completed her Balanced Body Reformer Certification and Movement Principles. You can find Christina at Tremont Athletic Club teaching mat work and also is a member of the Cleveland Dance Project.

Debbie Glosserman
Debbi Glosserman (Instructor) Trained by Troy McCarty and having taught at White Cloud Studios for over 23 years, Debbi is a fixture like the reformer. Good form and alignment are her obsessions. As clients get stronger, so does her Texas accent.

Maria Restrepo-Hamilton
Maria Restrepo-Hamilton, a Colombian native, danced with the Compania Santander Jazz Ballet before creating the first national Dance Festival for high school girls. Maria has contributed to Ohio's arts community and is recognized for her leadership. She's now a certified Pilates instructor with 30 years of experience, bringing a deep understanding of body mechanics from her dance career into her teaching. Beyond instructing, Maria enjoys hiking in Cleveland’s metroparks, cherishing family time, attending arts performances, and continuing her studies in Pilates and Yoga with her coaches and mentors.

Colleen Ventura
Colleen Ventura is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, Myofascial Release Practitioner, and Certified Comprehensive Pilates Instructor. Colleen received her initial pilates mat certification through PHI Institute and then completed her comprehensive training with second generation Master Instructor Troy McCarty through Balanced Body. Colleen loves creating dynamic challenging flows for her classes but also loves teaching private lessons to help clients reach their specific goals. Her clients love her attention to detail and motivating mindset. She loves her family, fur babies and leg warmers.
